1. There is some hope for kids with the antibodies or kids at risk for Type 1 diabetes. Apparently, they are testing a new insulin pill, that would delay or prevent the onset of diabetes. They say that it has delayed the onset up to five years in humans. It is never a good time to have the onset occur, but I would have
This could also help my other niece and nephew who are at high risk for developing diabetes. MaKenna was just tested for the antibodies and she does not have them, which means there is a good chance she won't have diabetes. Yea!!!!!! 1. That is great news about MaKenna
2. I'm so glad you have a blog so we can keep up with you!

Hopefully, it will go much smoother now that I am an official Google Blogger Member(whatever that is...)
Wow, Kristin! You're an official member. Maybe you will get a premium reward. Or a membership card. Or a gold star! :-)
Anna - I had to smile when I saw that you were into Cohutta because as I watched The Real World I thought, "THAT is the kind of guy Anna needs to meet." Maybe it was meant to be. Any plans to move to Georgia? :-)
